What is recorded here
Indicated is a hidden Limerick ringfort where a stray earthen tongue and matching gaps suggest a doorway rather than a dead wall. It is not a display site, but a living marker: a circle large enough to hold a hall, a field or a memory. The overgrowth does not hide the place; it completes it.
In level pasture. Roughly circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.9m) covered by dense overgrowth. Bank abutted by field walls at N and E. At NW a short run (L 14m) of earthen bank travels out tangentially from enclosing bank in NE direction; there is corresponding gap through both banks close to their junction. Second gap through enclosing bank to SW (Wth 1.5m). Most of interior covered by dense overgrowth.
