In level grassland. Marked on OS 6-inch maps as a circular enclosure (D c. 40m). A large mound of field-clearance rubble now occupies the site and no visible surface trace survives. An earthwork (GA042-127----) lay c. 100m to W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
