On E-facing slope of ridge, in good pasture. Roughly circular-shaped area (45m N-S; 41m E-W), enclosed by heavily overgrown earthen bank (H 1.6m) and external fosse (D 0.4m). Entrance (Wth 3.2m) on E, with causeway. Large depression in fosse to S.
