What is recorded here

Indicated is a vanished fairy fort in County Longford, last drawn as a tree-lined circle on an 1837 map before pasture and time erased its ridge. It may have been a childhood playground, a boundary marker, or a forgotten home, but the land has taken back its shape. What remains is a name pointing at nothing, inviting imagination to fill the hole where the fort stood.
