What is recorded here

Indicated is a trapezoidal fairy fort on a south-facing slope high on Ailwee Hill, its straight western, northern and eastern edges framing a gently curved southern line. The shape suggests human hands, yet local memory may preserve older claims about who lived there or what the stones excluded. Its size is modest, but its position is not, overlooking the land and resisting ordinary explanation.

On a S-facing slope high on Ailwee Hill within a multiperiod field system (CL005-104001-). A trapezoidal-shaped enclosure (c. 18m N-S; c. 25m E-W) defined by a stone spread at E and S with a possible later wall superimposed on N and W visible on Ordnance Survey ortho photography (2013-2018) and on Digital Globe.
