What is recorded here

Indicated is a subcircular rath in low-lying Galway woodland, measuring 58 metres east-west and 41.5 metres north-south. Its inner scarp, fosse and outer bank still trace the shape beneath trees, while a three-metre northern gap may mark the original entrance. The fort has watched the woodland breathe for centuries, waiting for footsteps on its causeway.

In low-lying woodland. Subcircular rath (58m E-W; 41.5m N-S), in fair condition, defined by an inner scarp, intervening fosse and outer bank. The fosse is visible from NW to NE and from E to SW. The outer bank survives from NNW to NE. A causewayed entrance gap (Wth 3m) at N may be original. The interior is planted with trees.
