Indicated is a fairy fort on a steep Mayo ridge, its flat-topped earth bank still standing after centuries of rain and pasture. The large hollow in the northeast sector may have held a house, a well, or a forgotten shrine, while the old fence across the south suggests people still lived beside or inside the ring. Trees and bushes now crowd the perimeter, softening the boundary between the made world and the wild one.

Near the top of the moderately steep W-facing slope of a NE–SW ridge in improved pasture. A roughly circular area (int. diams. 30m E-W; 26m N-S) is defined by a generally flat-topped bank of earth and stone (av. Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.4m-1m; ext. H 1.1- 1.5m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.3m) from SW-W. Trees and bushes grow along the perimeter. An old fence runs WNW-ESE across the S interior and there is a large hollow (dims. 10m E-W; 5m N-S; av. D 0.5m) in the NE sector. A later field wall runs SE off the enclosing bank at SE.
