Marked as a D-shaped embanked enclosure on the 1837 and 1914 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a broad NE-SW drumlin ridge. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 28m NW-SE; 17m NE-SW) defined by a low scarp (H 0.2-0.5m) NW-E-SE, but truncated by a WNW-ESE field bank at SW. Enclosure (RO017-186----) is c. 140m to the ENE.
