What is recorded here
Marked faintly as a circular feature (diam. c. 30m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map (MA 74), and situated on the S end of a low ridge. Described (Gannon 1972) as a tree ring defined by a slight scarp. It is not visible at ground level.
