On a gentle SW-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 46.6m E-W; 42.6m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.4m at S to 5.3m at W; int. H 0.1m at N and S to 0.45m at W; ext. H 0.65m at S to 1.9m at W) and hedge, with a rounded fosse (at W: Wth of top 8.7m; Wth of base 4m; ext. D 0.8m) and outer bank (at W: Wth 2.7m; ext. H 0.1m) SSW-NNW (max. surviving dim. 58m E-W). There is no visible entrance, and the outer bank is incorporated in a field bank NNW-NE. Rath (RO034-030----) is c. 90m t the NW.
