What is recorded here

Indicated is a stone ringfort in County Mayo, Ireland. It stands as a cashel, marking human presence and possibly warning against unwanted entry. The stones may have guided life, excluded strangers or measured distance between households. Whatever function it served, it shaped the local landscape and remains visible today.
