What is recorded here
Indicated is a hidden fairy fort in County Kerry, Ireland, marked only on old maps because the earth forgot its own shape. It may still hold a chamber for people who stop believing they are ordinary.
In pasture, on top of a small rise. This rath is not visible at ground level. It was indicated as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on the 1846 OS 6-inch map. On the 1939 OS 6-inch map it is indicated by a broken line NE-NW defining a circular area (diam. c. 30m). Another rath (KE066-039----) is c. 70m to the SE.
