What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Cork, conjoined to a ringfort on an NE-facing slope. Its twenty-seven-metre circle holds a level, slightly raised interior where cattle still graze. The boundary blends a low earthen bank, the taller ringfort wall and a field fence, creating one continuous shape rather than two separate ones. People may have drawn the fence around the fort instead of cutting through it, acknowledging that the land already belonged to someone else.

Circular area (diam. c. 27m) defined by low bank (H c. 0.75m) E->W; earthen bank (H 1.2m) of conjoined ringfort W->NW; field fence NW->E. Interior level and slightly raised.
