What is recorded here

Indicated is a stone ringfort in County Mayo, Ireland. It stands as a cashel, marking human presence and possibly resistance in that landscape. The stones may have surrounded a home, a warning post or a place of refuge. Whatever it was, it still points back at the people who built it and left it behind.
