What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to myth. The soil may have held a village, a shrine or a child’s secret before the names faded. People often point at it instead of naming it, as if the place refused to be known. What is missing is not a flaw. It is the shape of the hole, waiting for a memory strong enough to fall inside.
