What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned into myth. Its name points instead of claiming, as if the place refuses to be known on its own terms. The earth may have held a household, a boundary or a warning before it became a fortress for unseen things. To enter is to be entered back, marked by the same force that shaped the ridge.
