Indicated is a levelled fairy fort overlooking the Deenagh River valley in County Kerry, preserving a thirty-metre concave depression and a hidden underground passage. Cattle graze above the buried chamber today, unaware that human hands shaped the earth beneath their hooves centuries ago. The fort watches the river flow like a forgotten sentinel, keeping its quiet distance from the modern world.

In pasture, at the top of a steep E-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Deenagh River. This rath is levelled but is evident as a slight concave depression (diam. c. 30m) at the edge of a natural fall of ground down to the floor of the river valley. It was recorded in the 1840s as a large rath in the SE end of the townland (OSNB, Kilcummin, no. 3, 25). There is a Man-made underground passage (KE059-011001-) in the interior. This rath is indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map as a roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) in a small field whose boundaries abut the N, S and W arcs of the rath. A second rath (KE059-012----) lies c. 250m to the ESE on the opposite side of the river.
