Situated on level ground near the SW base of a ridge. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Indicated by a solid line on the 1916 OS 6-inch map. On inspection in 1999 the remaining portion of an apparently modern circular enclosure was found comprising a heavily overgrown drystone wall from E through S to W.
