Indicated is a barrow, bowl-barrow in Castleteheen, County Roscommon, Ireland. It stands on a slight north-south ridge at the summit of Mewlaghadooey Hill, forming a circular grass-covered mound with a slight pit on top. The structure sits within a hillfort southwest of its centre, reaching four metres high at the west edge. Its prominent position and size suggest it might contain a passage tomb.

On a slight N-S ridge at the summit of Mewlaghadooey Hill. Circular, grass-covered flat-topped earthen mound (diam. of base 27m N-S; 25.5m E-W; diam. of top 9.8m N-S; 8.8m E-W; H 3.1m at E to 4m at W) with a slight pit (diam. 5.5m; D 0.2m) on the summit. It is within the hillfort (RO027-014001-), SW of the centre. Given its prominent position and its size, it might contain a passage tomb. Neolithic passage tomb; dates to the earlier part of the Neolithic period in Ireland (c. 3700–2500 BCE). Its location on a prominent hilltop suggests ritual or ceremonial significance, typical of Neolithic funerary monuments in the region.
