What is recorded here
Indicated is a crannog in County Mayo, Ireland. It is a small island dwelling built above water, where people lived, kept fire light and faced the sky without a wall between them and the world. The name gives no further shape, but the form is clear: a room in the landscape, made deliberate, exposed and alive.
