What is recorded here

Indicated is a circular earthen ringfort in County Limerick, measuring thirty-one by thirty-four metres, with a bank still standing seventy-five centimetres high on its best-preserved edge. Cattle have grazed the northern arc nearly flat, yet mature trees hold their ground on the remaining ridge. The flat interior remains open pasture, preserving the shape of a place where people once drew a clear boundary around their lives.

In pasture, on break in N-facing slope immediately below brow of low hill. Roughly circular area (31m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.75m), best preserved ESE->SW. Bank is much denuded by cattle along N arc (ext. H c. 0.25m), and is clear of overgrowth but has some mature deciduous trees growing on it. Level interior is under pasture.
