Structure

What is recorded here

The structure in Carrownamaddoo (carbury By., Rossinver West Ed) is in County Sligo, Ireland. It is a single roomed outbuilding of roughly coursed un-mortared rubble measuring 2.6m by 2.6m, with walls 1.1m high and 0.5m thick. Built in the 19th century, it stands against the external side of the Carrownamaddoo cashel bank at the south southeast.
Situated on slight N-facing slope in gently undulating upland pasture. Two post-medieval structures, almost certainly of 19th century date, are located on the SE side of Carrownamaddoo cashel (SL005-095001-). This, the second, is single roomed (dims. 2.6m by 2.6m; Wall H 1.1m; Wall T 0.5m) of roughly coursed un-mortared rubble located against external side of the cashel bank at SSE. This is probably the remains of an outbuilding. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 13 August 2012
