What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, Ireland. A circular earthen bank rises nine-tenths of a metre around forty metres of rough pasture, facing east beside a broad marsh. People may have lived inside the ring before the fairies took it back, but the land keeps its own counsel now.
