Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Carnagh West, County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular grass-covered area measures 46.4m across and contains a NE-SW field bank and farm lane. An earthen bank with bushes defines the boundary, while a 3.9m entrance faces SE. Rath (RO045-151----) lies 160m to the W.
On a gentle NE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 46.4m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 3.9-4m; int. H 0.1-0.5m; ext. H 0.55-0.75m). There are slight traces of a fosse, but the entrance (Wth 3.9m) is at SE. The interior is bisected by a NE-SW field bank and farm lane. Rath (RO045-151----) is c. 160m to the W.
