What is recorded here

Indicated is a subcircular cashel thirty-one metres across on a gentle Galway rise, its double-faced drystone wall still standing firm in pastureland. The southern gap may be modern, but the ancient ring remains clear enough to walk around and imagine inside. A field boundary curves beside it, marking the edge of human use without erasing the shape of the fort.
