What is recorded here
On the E-facing slopes of a ridge with views over a low valley from NE to S in an area overgrown with hazel and within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL004-016001-). Indicated on the 1915 OS 6-inch map.
A circular enclosure (13m E-W; 12m N-S) defined by a low, collapsed stone wall which is best preserved from S to NW (int. H 0.4-1.1m; ext. H 1m; Wth c. 2-3m) with collapsed outer facing-stones in the SW (H 0.9m) which lean outwards. Some possible outer facing-stones are also visible at W. Two large stones are upright on the outer edge at N and there is an animal gap at NNW. The overgrown interior is rocky.
