What is recorded here
Indicated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to legend. The soil may have held a household, a shrine or a child’s game before memory failed, but the boundary still stands against forgetting. Mayo does not explain its dead places; it waits for someone to notice the shape and admit the danger.
