What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort in County Cork, Ireland. A modern field fence has swallowed most of its boundary, but a low earthen bank and shallow ditch still mark the western edge. The loss is typical; human memory retreats, and the unusual place becomes a suggestion instead of a fact.

In pasture, on W shoulder of E-W ridge. Circular area (32.2m N-S; 30m E-W) enclosed by modern field fence except WNW->NNW where original bank survives (H 1.5m) with external fosse (D 0.5m).
