What is recorded here

Indicated was a twenty-metre fairy fort on a gentle slope in County Limerick, visible on maps until quarrying buried it under limestone rubble. It stood beside an active blast-face, suggesting human hands or fairy trickery removed what nature had shaped. The loss fits the area, where extraction still rewrites the land and memory alike.
On gentle SW-facing slope, In area of outcropping limestone within active quarry complex; Blast-face is c. 100m to W. Monument, depicted as circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on 1923 OS 6-inch map, is no longer evident in area now covered with heaps of limestone rubble.
