What is recorded here

Indicated is a ruined stone ringfort in County Mayo, Ireland, where large boulders still mark a circular boundary nearly fifty metres across. Its broken wall and internal divisions suggest people lived, worked or kept something valuable inside the circle before the stones scattered. The fort belongs to a wider archaeological complex beside old field systems, proving the land was shaped and reused rather than merely watched.

In rocky terrain, part of archaeological complex (MA121-074----) and adjoined by field system (MA121-074002-). Circular area (50m N-S; 49m E-W), enclosed by ruined wall (H 0.5m; Wth 1.5m) of large boulders, with dump construction material in evidence. Interior displays a number of internal divisions.
