What is recorded here

Situated on level ground overlooking a short steep SE drop to a stream in recently improved pasture (previously scrubby terrain). Marked as a large circular enclosure on the 1838 OS 6-inch map (max. diam. c. 80m), and on the current edition as an irregular polygonal field. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
