What is recorded here

Indicated is a ruined fairy fort in low Galway grassland, its circular wall collapsed into the earth after quarrying bit through the east and south. The remains hide a man-made passage, suggesting the fort was built to keep something contained rather than merely occupied.

In low-lying grassland. Poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. c. 54m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall. Quarrying has encroached upon the monument at E and S and the enclosing element is obscured by overgrowth. Within E sector of the interior is a Man-made underground passage (GA083-052001-).
