Indicated is a five-sided stone fort on the summit of Ailwee Hill, large enough for a small household but set so high it belongs more to weather than people. Its wall still stands within old field lines, marking a place where someone chose visibility, risk and pride over ease. The name sounds like direction rather than memory, as if the fort existed to be seen, judged or answered from a distance.
