In rough grazing on S side of old road running N from Bearhaven mining complex (CO114-027001-). Circular area (diam. 5.9m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 0.5m) to E and by sharp rise to W; small gaps to NE and SW worn by cattle. (O'Shea, Crowley 1972, 97-98, No. 168). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
