What is recorded here
In a slight hollow on the S-facing slope of a rocky ridge in rough pasture, with good views from S to SW, within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL010-064001-). Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the RMP (1996). This subrectangular hut site (int. dims. 7m ENE-WSW; 7m NNW-SSE) is defined by a stone and earth bank (Wth 2-3m; int. H 0.2-0.6m; ext. H 0-0.4m). The interior is hollow and uneven, with a poorly defined L-shaped line of stones in the SE quadrant abutting the bank and enclosing a small space. There is late stonework on the edge of the hut site.
