One chamber, no hall. The Iveragh survey measured the collapsed wall at two metres thick and the eastern gap at eighty centimetres, wide enough for a person but narrow enough to keep out much of the storm. That is a dwelling, not a display. The rath around it may have belonged to a family, a herder or a seasonal worker, yet the chamber itself still points to ordinary life: a door, a floor and a wall built to remain standing when the sky failed.

Centrally located in the rath's interior are the sod-covered remains of a circular hut (KE070-052001-). Measuring 6.3m N-S x 5.8m E-W internally, its much collapsed wall averages 2m wide.
