What is recorded here

No visible chamber remains, only a shallow ring of stones and dark soil where a wall once stood. The measurements are precise, the purpose ambiguous, and the absence becomes the main feature. A person may have lived there, or the stones may have marked a boundary, a cache, or a temporary camp. The land kept the shape but lost the story, forcing imagination to fill the gap.

'At a distance of 27m south of the above hut site (KE038-125----) are two more similar sites with similar views and aspect. Again, in both cases modern sheepfolds have been constructed partly on the earlier foundations. The two hut sites are 10m apart with the more easterly example (KE038-134----) being the smaller at a diameter of 3m, while the larger example (KE038-135----) has a diameter of 3.8m. In both cases only the foundations of the earlier huts are visible, partly covered by peat. The foundations indicate a wall width of 0.6m for the smaller example and 0.66m for the larger hut.
