Hut site in Tiduff

This stone hut lies S of the previous three sites. It too is situated immediately E of the prehistoric wall. The hut site is circular in plan and is enclosed by a stone wall c 1.4m wide. The external diameter is 6.8m N-S and 6.5m E-W. The prehistoric stone wall (KE013-004----) runs E-W for c 32m and then curves S for a further 26m. It is on average 1.3m wide. The four previous stone hut sites all lie on the E side of the sector of the wall after it curves S. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.
