Hut site in Slievenaglasha

On a terrace on a steep semi-karst S-facing slope, land falling very steeply c. 30m to the SSE. In rough pasture within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL010-064001-). This D-shaped possible hut site (6.9m E-W) with a straight E side (L 8.4m) is defined from SE to NE by a drystone wall (Wth 0.6-0.9m; H 0.2-0.5m) only a single course of which survives. The wall stones are laid transversely (i.e., with their long axes pointing toward the centre of the possible hut site). The E side is defined by a moss-covered drystone wall (oriented N-S) which extends c. 10m N to a bedrock terrace-face (H c. 2m). The W part of the interior is 0.3m higher than the E, due to a natural bedrock step. A semicircular drystone wall extends NW from the NW edge of the possible hut site, largely enclosing the sheltered space between it and the bedrock terrace to the N.
