Hut site in Shronebirrane

In rough hill pasture, on a terrace on the gentle S-facing slope of Tooth Mountain. The remains of an oval hut site (3m N-S; 1.6m E-W) defined by a drystone wall (T c. 0.7m; H c. 0.55m at W) which abuts a small outcropping rock at S. Large stones in the lower courses protrude above the blanket bog. Some partly grass-covered rubble lies along the perimeter of the hut site. Two other hut sites (KE111-015001-, KE111-015002-) are 18m to the N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
