Shehy Beg holds a tiny rectangular hut on a western terrace, facing east across a broad mountain plateau where several other hut sites appear on the slope below. It measures about four metres long and two metres wide, with no visible entrance, as if its door disappeared or was never needed. A field boundary stands close beside it, marking the edge between ancient occupancy and ordinary farmland.

A sub-rectangular hut site situated at the western end of a level terrace with an enclosure c.40m to the east. It has clear views over the main plateau of Shehy Mountain including further hut sites on the next ‘step’ down to the east (CO093-077001-to CO093-077005-). It measures c.4m east- west and c. 1.8m north-south with no clear entrance location. A c. 10m length of field boundary running north-south lies c. 2m to the east of this hut site.
