Hut site in Scarteen (dunkerron South By.)

In rough hill grazing with occasional surface stones, on a terrace on the S-facing slopes of Knockleama and within a field system (KE083-023002-). The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2.8m NE-SW) defined by a stone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.4m) which protrudes above the surface of bog SW-NE. Occasional traces of the wall are visible on the ground surface NE-SW. There is another hut site (KE083-023006-) c. 25m to the NW.
