Within a field system (KE083-023002-). This is one of three possible 'beehive huts' (see KE083-023009-, KE083-023010-) which were described as being 'in a state of collapse' (SMR file). This possible hut site was not visible at ground level on a subsequent inspection of the area. (SMR file) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
