Hut site in Rinn Chonaill

On E slopes of Reenconnell. An irregularly-shaped enclosure defined by field walls and measuring 33m x 38m. Four structures, 3 possibly hut sites and 1 possibly a sheep-pen, lie within the enclosure, 2 of the huts occupying its NW and NE corners. (1) (KE043-004----) In NW corner of enclosure. Poorly-preserved remains of a circular drystone structure. D: 5.83 to 5.04m. H: 1m. A partly lintelled and drystone-lined hollow in the thickness of the wall at E may be a wall-passage or chamber. (2) (KE043-004001-) In NW corner of enclosure. A subcircular foundation. D: c. 3.72m. H: .8m. (3) (KE043-004002-) Directly inside E wall of enclosure.
