What is recorded here
To the east of the hut-site (DG089-018024-) are the remains of at least two structures (Walsh 1983, 55, Fig. 18, B). The more easterly structure consists of a low oval bank of earth and stone, 0.2m high, measuring 2 by 4m internally; it is probably a hut-site. A stone, 0.65 by 0.30 by 0.92m high, and tapering towards the top, is set on end in the east wall. This stone may have formed part of the east wall. Alternatively, the occupiers of the site may have incorporated a pre-existing stone when building the hut. The location of this hut-site is approximate.
