What is recorded here

No visible walls remain, but the flat ground and faint edge suggest a small chamber where people stood, sat or worked. The rath already marked the edge of a lived world, and this inner room may have narrowed that world further. What is missing is not importance but visibility. The earth has kept the shape long enough for imagination to complete the room.

In the E half of the interior of a rath (MA030-012----). This possible hut site (4.8m E–W; 4.5m N–S) is roughly square in plan, defined by a slight, sod-covered bank (Wth c. 1m; H 0.2-0.3m). The remains are low and poorly defined. It is located at the E end of a low, rectangular raised area or platform (c. 11m E–W; c. 10m N–S) which occupies the E half of the rath interior.
