Situated on a slight natural rise in gently undulating slightly rushy grassland. Ringfort (WM010-029----) 200m to SSE. The Irishtown River which forms the boundary with Lakingstown is 120m to NE. The faint outline of a circular house site (diam. 6.6m) is visible in N quadrant of ringfort (WM010-028---).
