What is recorded here
A series of about 5 depressions in this field may mark the location of circular hut-sites. Some of the depressions preserve sections of drystone walling around their perimeters.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 1362. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
