In rough mountain terrain at the head of Com Amhais. A circular corbelled drystone structure, with 2 wall recesses in the interior, 1 possibly a window. Lintelled entrance is only .65m high. D: 3.8m. H: 2.5m. T: 1.25m. This is located at NE angle of a large, roughly triangular enclosure now barely discernible. Other structures built up against the wall of this enclosure may have been sheep-shelters or -folds. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
