Na Gleannta Theas holds a circular drystone hut on a gentle western slope, its corbelled walls rising 2.4m around a lintelled entrance barely high enough for a bending adult. The narrow opening faced the Milltown river, admitting wind and rain while excluding larger predators. Whoever built it understood that survival required more than strength; it required geometry.
